The villa is set at the end of a cul-de-sac, which runs through this select development of approximately 18 properties surrounded by fields. Although the villa has it's own private pool, guests also have use of the large, communal pool in the centre of the development.
An entrance hallway leads to the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Entertainment is provided by the flat screen satellite TV (limited channels), DVD player and CD stereo. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table seats 6. A guest cloakroom is located on this level. A staircase leads to the three bedrooms on the first floor, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, two twin bedrooms and a full family bathroom. All three bedrooms and the living/dining area are equipped with air-conditioning units* and all rooms including the kitchen are equipped with ceiling fans. Outside is the 8 metre x 4 metre prviate swimming pool surrounded by a sunbathing terrace equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a brick-built barbeque. Private parking. Location - Paphos, PolisPolis is the principal town for the northwest region. This traditional town, huddled around a pedestrianised square is a great place to browse the many shops, enjoy a coffee watching the world pass by or dine at any of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre. The town has an archaeological museum and cultural centre. The town square is approximately 10 minutes stroll from the villa while the coarse sand and shingle beach backed by tall Eucalyptus trees can be reached in approximately 20 minutes walk. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire and a restaurant/snack bar can provide refreshments. Approximately 3.5 kilometres along the coast from Polis is the seaside resort of Latchi with its recently opened 200 berth marina. Here you will find an array of inviting sea-front tavernas with a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood served daily. Just beyond Latchi you will find the well known 'Baths of Aphrodite' and for nature lovers the protected Akamas Peninsular an area particular suited to walkers and adventurers who can explore the many criss-crossed nature trails. The coastline of this area can also be enjoyed by boat with daily excursions available from the marina. The undeveloped beaches of the Argaka area stretch along a natural coastline of coarse sand, shingle and pebble. For a day here you will need to bring your own beach mat and umbrella. Refreshments can be found at one of the tavernas scattered along the coastal road or you can take a cool box and lunch under the shade of the trees in one of the designated picnic areas. If you would like to experience a more authentic side of Cyprus then take the time to explore some of the inland villages of the northwest region. By getting off the beaten path you'll discover such delights as village cultural centres and museums, galleries, Churches and wineries with free wine tasting! Polis and the surrounding villages count bowling, go-karting, fishing, cycling, watersports and scuba diving amongst the many activities on offer to visitors. The Minthis Hills Golf Course is just under a 30 minute drive away. Paphos Town, approximately 40 minutes drive away, was once the capital of the island and is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff is the main administrative centre and residential district while Kato Pafos, by the sea, is the main tourist area built around the harbour and medieval port. More modern entertainment facilities in Paphos include shopping facilities, markets, a Waterpark, bowling alley, aquarium and the Paphos Bird and Animal Park with its daily parrot shows.
